But a lot of people want to know if they can voice-control this lock using Alexa-enabled devices, so does Wyze Lock Work with Alexa?

Of course, this lock can be integrated with Alexa in order to give you the option to lock, unlock and know the status of your door using simple voice commands.

If you have an Alexa enabled device like Echo Dot, Amazon Echo, Echo Show, Echo Spot, Fire TV, and even your cell phone or tablet, you can use it to voice control your Wyze door lock.

But first they need to be connected and this is what I will show you in the following sections of this article.

Connect Wyze Lock to Alexa.

The first thing to do before connecting Alexa with your lock is to deactivate the Do Not Disturb mode to allow receiving notifications on your Echo devices, and here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to the Alexa app on your mobile or tablet.
  2. Open “Devices”.
  3. Then select “Echo & Alexa”.
  4. Choose your device.
  5. Select “Do Not Disturb”.
  6. Turn Do Not Disturb off.

After disabling the Do Not Disturb mode you need to link Alexa with your Wyze account by following the instructions below:

  1. Open up the Wyze app on your mobile or tablet.
  2. Go into your Account settings, then tap on “Works With” to link Alexa to your Wyze account.

You can also link the Wyze account from Alexa:
